MSVG 2019-20 Trade Checklist

In order for a standard trade to be validated by the League, it must meet all of the following criteria:

Players must not be listed as “Out,” on IR, suspended, or inactive (i.e. – sent back to juniors)
​

Players on each side, one-for-one, must be at-or-within .5 average fantasy points of each other
​

Each player involved must accrue a minimum of 25 games played in the NHL at time of trade
​

No player-for-player trades below an average fantasy point total of 10.5
​
-
Same amount of players going each way, including cash deals (see below)
​
In order to trade from the cash pool, the following scenarios are acceptable:

Acquiring a player outside the .5 rule in a player-and-cash swap (see below)
*A player must still be returned + cash considerations…

i.e. – Team 1 trades N. Kucherov (16.7) and $650k to Team 2 for L. Sbisa (10.5) and $9.12million

Trading cash as a sweetener in a standard trade (no more than $1.5million)
