Kuznetsov's 3rd Line may currently be trailing the Ice Bombers in this extended Week 1 matchup, but K3L received news yesterday afternoon that gives a dramatic boost to their early-season ambitions.

Star forward Brayden Point has begun practicing in his first line role, and may very well make his season debut by this weekend. He had been suffering through a hip injury in training camp and the preseason.

After a serious injury to star defenseman Nate Schmidt this week, K3L certainly welcomes back some production. Point, 23, had 41 goals to complement his 92 point campaign last season.

To make room for Point's return from the IR, forward Lawson Crouse has been placed on MSVG waivers. Crouse, 22, has been held point-less through two games this year. He has 38 career points through 166 games.
